About Sarah
Owner and Director Sarah Phillips has been dancing for 25 years and teaching dance for 12 years. When she was fifteen Sarah started assistant teaching, that's when she fell in love with teaching dance.
Sarah has won several awards such as: third in the nation in 2002, best entertainer, best showmanship, best choreography, student teacher award, and many more. Sarah has performed on Carnival Cruise line, danced in Walt Disney World and Universal studios. Sarah has competed and participated in well known dance conventions such as Company Dance, Tremaine, Urban Jam, L.A. Dance Magic, Hollywood Vibe, and many more. She has trained and studied under choreographers and dancers for Disney Channel, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Britney Spears. Sarah attended the University of Mississippi where she was a member of the University of Mississippi Rebelette Dance Team. Sarah then went on to Los Angeles, California to pursue her love of dance. While there she taught at Kick It Up Dance Studio. Sarah also got the chance to be featured in Lady GaGa's music video "Just Dance". Sarah is married to Zach Phillips and they have two beautiful children, Noah and Zoey! She is excited to be back in Madison, Ms as the owner and Director of Encore! Sarah wants to continue her love for teaching and her passion for dance while helping the youth of Madison discover their love for dance. |
